This series I have titled: Journey: Euskadi is related to my early childhood memories about my father’s family. I have engraved in my mind the big map of a mysterious place named Euskadi (the name of the Basque Country in Euskera language) hanging on the wall of my grandparent’s house in Santiago, Chile. I tried to understand the lines drawn there and to figure out how could be that country where my grandfather Ignacio was born. Years later I visited that place, the house where he lived and also I met my large family there. It enforced until now my connection with my Basque roots.
