The Creation Series is about the energy that whirls around us at the moment of artistic creation. Female energy is a great source, a kind of matrix of the world from which life emerges in both the macro and microcosm. It is the mysterious source from which the movement and dance of the atoms and planets arise and merge with the silent and meditative state.
I have been inspired by my mother’s spiritual and universal essence. I painted The Creation I while listening to her favorite classical piece Beethoven's the Emperor Concerto. This music matched perfectly with the powerful moment of the energetic manifestation of the world. The Creation II was painted while listening to Erik Satie's Pieces for Piano, which allowed me to flow through a more quiet energy, the moment related to the Sacred Life.
