valle del elqui (2015)

Inspired in an abstract way by the landscape of the mystic Elqui Valley, Chile. Also I have been inspired by the Nobel Prize laureate Gabriela Mistral poem "Valle del Elqui" (from "Poema de Chile", written in 1947); and by the music of Chilean composer Jorge Urrutia "Sugerencias de Chile op. 1." Besides the acrylic paint I have used soil from those fertile and mystic hills.
